Uploaded files including menus, images, and documents used for AI menu import and content generation.
02How we use information
Provide and improve Menu Deck services.
Generate AI-assisted menu descriptions, images, and menu imports.
Deliver analytics and reporting.
Provide support and communicate with users.
Maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
03Third-party services
Menu Deck uses trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These may include Supabase (database, authentication, storage), OpenAI and Google Gemini (AI features), Stripe (future payment processing), and Google Analytics (future product analytics).
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We share only the data needed to deliver the requested feature.
04Data ownership
Restaurants retain ownership of content they upload to Menu Deck, including menu items, descriptions, photos, and branding.
Menu Deck stores and processes this content solely to deliver the service.
05Your data rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@menudeck.app. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days.
You may request an export of your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format by contacting privacy@menudeck.app.
You may request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA respectively, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
06Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active.
Menu content, analytics events, and import history are deleted within 90 days of account closure.
Support ticket records are retained for up to 2 years for operational and quality-assurance purposes.
Policy acceptance records are retained indefinitely for legal compliance purposes.
